| Day 1: |

| Arrive in Lusaka for your short flight to Mfuwe Airstrip. Here you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Island Bush Camp. Once here you will spend the evening relaxing after your flight.

| Day 2 & 3: |

| This small, personalised camp lies under a grove of Mahogany trees on the only habitable island in the Luangwa River. Island Bush Camp offers rustic accommodation in grass/reed huts, with the modern comforts of hot showers and running water. Each stilted chalet, with open frontage has a private verandah overlooking the Luangwa River. This means that you really do get up close and personal with the wildlife. Our rangers will plan your routes considering the level of fitness and interests of the group in this remote very rich game area |

| Day 4 ( 2 Hours by road) : |

| Today you will transfer to Kafunta Lodge set within a riverside forest on the banks of the Luangwa River. The exceptional standards of the guides at Kafunta ensure that visitors see lots of the park's stunning and plentiful wildlife. This is illustrated best at night, when their ability to find leopards, civets, porcupines and other nocturnal creatures, is beyond comparison! Animals even make daily visits to Kafunta's own waterhole |

| Day 5 to 7 (4 Hours by Road): |

| From Kafunta you will transfer by road to Luangwa Wilderness Lodge Luangwa Wilderness Lodge lies in the remote Zambian wilderness of the Luambe National Park. Sandwiched between North and South Luangwa National Parks, this unique slice of untouched Africa offers visitors the thrill of viewing herds of elephant and buffalo and prides of lion. It promises enchanting sightings of leopard, hippo and many other species of antelope and bird life. The lodge nestles on the banks of the Luangwa River, idyllically situated beneath large spreading Trichelia and African Ebony trees, and well off the beaten tourist track. You will spend each day exploring this rich and diverse landscape on foot guided by our expert game rangers. |
